I'm a self-taught mixed media artist and have been creating art and a positive atmosphere in my life for as long as I can remember. I live in sunny South Florida, which serves as my inspiration for my use of bright fun colors with a whimsical flair.
My goal is to inspire and empower you to find your inner happiness through creativity, as I have in my life. This website includes different tips and techniques that will hopefully inspire your inner muse to create.
Welcome and join me on a wonderful journey in creating art!
I finished a new abstract in my Arteza Journal, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!
I continued experimenting with alcohol inks, and I love the way they flowed and blended in this piece. I built up multiple layers, with the alcohol inks as the final touch, and they interacted beautifully with the acrylics underneath—much better than my last attempt! One of my favorite things about this technique is how the layers peek through in different areas, adding depth and intrigue.
For a little extra magic, I added a small butterfly in the top left corner, created from a piece of painted paper I had saved in my stash. And of course, I couldn’t resist a touch of glitter and gold—they catch the light so beautifully!
I’m still in the middle of organizing my studio, and let’s just say… I have more supplies than I realized! 😂 What are your weekend plans?
Have you ever had clutter sneak into your home or office and create a disastrous mess? That’s me right now. I don’t even know where all the stuff comes from. It’s like I’m a magnet for collecting stuff, and that stuff attracts more stuff, and before you know it—BOOM—there’s stuff everywhere!! 😂
But don’t worry, we can break the cycle. Here’s how to organize like a pro (or at least like someone who knows where their keys are).
1. Declutter First (Yes, That Means Letting Go)
Before you start organizing, you have to ditch the extra stuff. Ask yourself: Do I use this? Does it bring me joy? Or is it just here to mess with me? If it’s the latter, donate, recycle, or toss it before it multiplies again.
2. Use Smart Storage (A Fancy Way of Saying “Put Things in Bins”)
Pro organizers love bins, baskets, and labels. Why? Because they keep your stuff from turning into an uncontrollable avalanche. Clear containers = no more guessing what’s inside that mystery box from 2019.
3. Give Everything a Home (So It Stops Wandering Off)
If something doesn’t have a designated spot, it will find a way to spread chaos. Find a home for every item, and when you’re done using it, send it back like it’s on a mission.
4. Maximize Vertical Space (Because Floors Aren’t Storage Units)
When in doubt, go up! Shelves, wall hooks, and stackable storage keep things neat while freeing up space. Bonus: you’ll finally stop tripping over that pile of books you vowed you’re going to read.
5. Set a Daily Reset Routine (AKA, Save Future You From Stress)
Spend 10 minutes tidying up each evening. Future You will thank you when they walk into a clutter-free space instead of a scene from a home disaster movie.
The key to staying organized is consistency—plus a little humor when stuff gets out of control. Start small, build good habits, and take back your space, one decluttered drawer at a time!
Hope you found this post helpful—thanks for dropping by! 😊
Lately, I’ve been exploring new abstract designs, color combinations, and techniques to bring more depth and intrigue to my art. Some mediums have quickly become favorites, while others… not so much. But that’s the beauty of the creative journey—learning, experimenting, and discovering along the way!
One of the most magical parts of this process is working with watercolors. When creating these abstracts, you never quite know how the final piece will turn out. The paints mix and mingle in unexpected ways, forming unique colors and organic shapes that make each piece one of a kind.
This 4×6 inch watercolor abstract was an experiment with a new color combination that I instantly fell in love with. After the first layer dried, I built up the vibrancy with additional layers, enhancing the depth and shading. To finish, I added touches of gold pen and a bit of glitter for that extra magical glow. To me, it feels like a peaceful lake at sunset, with cattails swaying along the shore.
What do you see in it?
Wishing you a day filled with creativity, inspiration, and a little touch of magic! ✨
There’s something magical about receiving a handmade card—especially one bursting with color, energy, and personality! Lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of creating an online class where we explore the joy of making vibrant abstract birthday cards together.
Imagine layering bold colors and playful textures to craft unique, artful cards that feel just as special as the people you’re celebrating. 🎨✨ Whether you love working with watercolor, acrylics, or mixed media, this class would be all about free-flowing creativity and embracing the unexpected.
Not only would these handmade cards add a personal touch to birthdays, but they’d also be a fun and relaxing way to tap into your artistic side. Plus, wouldn’t it be amazing to have a stash of beautiful, ready-to-gift cards on hand? 🎁💖
So, what do you think? Would you be interested in joining this class? 🤩 Let me know in the comments or send me a message—I’d love to hear your thoughts!
If this sounds like something you’d love, stay tuned for more details! 💬💛
Wishing you a fantastic weekend—thanks so much for stopping by! 😊✨
I use my blender every single day—mostly for smoothies, but occasionally for soups too. Because of how much I relied on it, I found myself replacing my blenders every 12 to 15 months. Each time, I’d upgrade to a slightly more expensive model, thinking it would last longer. But no matter how much I spent, they always broke down.
Then came the moment when I told my husband I wanted to invest in a Vitamix. He thought I was crazy—after all, it was way more expensive than the others I had bought. But unlike those cheaper blenders with a flimsy one-year warranty (if that), the Vitamix came with an optional upgrade to a 10-year warranty. That alone made me think, this must be built to last.
Well, fast forward 12 years, and I’m still using my Vitamix Pro Series Blender—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
If you love blending up smoothies, soups, or sauces, the Vitamix is a game-changer. Its powerful motor and durable design handle everything from frozen fruit to tough greens, creating silky-smooth blends every time.
But what really sets it apart is its versatility. It’s not just for smoothies—you can whip up nut butters, hot soups (it heats through friction!), and even dough. And the best part? The self-cleaning function makes cleanup effortless.
Yes, it’s an investment, but after going through so many blenders in the past, I can say with confidence—it’s worth every penny. If you’re serious about blending, this is the one to get!
Are you a fellow Vitamix fan? Share your favorite recipes or tell me what you’d love to try—let’s chat in the comments! 🍓🥑🥣✨
I’m so excited to introduce my latest Giclée print, “Sunlit Whispers”—a vibrant burst of pinks, lavender, sunny yellow, and shimmering gold accents! Adapted from my original abstract painting, this piece radiates joy, energy, and warmth, making it a perfect statement for any space.
Printed on luxurious 310g Giclée paper with fade-resistant pigment inks, each print captures the richness of the original artwork and is available in 8×8, 10×10, 12×12, 16×16, and 20×20 inches. Plus, the 0.5-inch border makes framing a breeze!
If you’re looking to add a pop of color and happiness to your home—or need a unique gift for an art lover—”Sunlit Whispers” is ready to brighten your world!
This week, I finished a new abstract in my Arteza Journal, and let’s just say—it didn’t turn out quite as expected. 🎨
I experimented with alcohol inks, loving their fluid movement—until they ran into the orange paint and turned… brown. 🤨 Not the contrast I was hoping for! For a moment, I wasn’t sure what to do, but I’ve learned that sometimes, all a painting needs is one more layer.
Enter glitter paint. ✨ And just like that, the shimmer softened the brown, catching the light in a way that made everything feel more intentional. A little sparkle really does work wonders!
Now, with that piece finished, I’m shifting gears for Mission Organization—because my studio has officially reached creative chaos mode. Time for a reset!

Sweet & Simple
“You make my heart smile.” 💖

Romantic & Loving
“Together is my favorite place to be.”
“Love you more than words can say.”
“You are my happily ever after.” 💕
For that special someone in your life, these sentiments add a touch of romance to your handmade card. They pair beautifully with delicate watercolor hearts, soft pastels, or even a bold abstract background.

“You make life so much sweeter!” 🍫
“Every bond is special, but ours is my favorite.”
If you’re creating a card for a best friend, sibling, or parent, these messages will remind them just how much they mean to you. Adding personal details, like an inside joke or a shared memory, makes it even more meaningful.

Since your card is one-of-a-kind, why not highlight that in your message? Let the recipient know that your creation was made with love and intention, just for them.
Final Touches
Once you’ve chosen your sentiment, consider adding a little extra flair to make it stand out:
Write it in beautiful hand lettering or use stamps for a polished touch.
Add a small heartfelt note inside with something personal.
Use collage, washi tape, or embossing to enhance the design.

There’s something magical about watching colors come to life on a canvas, blending and dancing together to create a piece that radiates warmth. My newest 5×7 abstract, “Blossoming Light,” does just that—a vibrant fusion of pinks, soft beige, and calming lavender, all woven into a cheerful, uplifting composition.
A Touch of Radiance
This painting isn’t just about color—it’s about movement and energy. With a delicate floral motif and playful circles, it feels like petals caught in a gentle breeze. The textured background adds depth, inviting you to get lost in the layers of color and form. And to complete the piece, the design wraps seamlessly around the edges, making it a polished, gallery-style artwork ready to shine from any angle.
Versatile & Effortlessly Chic
At 5×7 inches, “Blossoming Light” is the perfect little pop of joy. Whether propped up on a shelf, adding charm to a desk, or becoming part of a stylish gallery wall, it fits effortlessly into any space. It’s a reminder that even the smallest artworks can bring big energy and beauty.
Sealed with Care
To preserve its vibrancy, I’ve finished this piece with a protective matte seal, ensuring it stays as fresh and radiant as the day it was created. Whether you’re looking for a unique addition to your home or a heartfelt gift for someone special, “Blossoming Light” is ready to brighten any space.

Art supplies can be pricey, so I never like to waste any of them—especially paint. Instead of letting those last bits dry up on my palette, I use them to start a new journal page. It’s a simple but effective way to get the most out of your materials while keeping your creativity flowing. Even if you need to add a little more of certain colors, you’ll already have a great starting point without feeling like anything has gone to waste.
That’s exactly how I created this vibrant, abstract background. I applied the paint with a brush and also used my fingers to blend and add texture. There’s something so freeing about working with your hands—it creates a natural, organic feel that’s hard to replicate with a brush alone. Sometimes, I’ll wear a latex glove, depending on the medium, which helps keep my hands clean and prevents certain paints from staining.
Using up leftover paint like this isn’t just practical; it also sparks new ideas. A random splash of color can turn into an inspiring background for future layers—whether that’s collage, mark-making, or even a full painting. If you’ve ever hesitated before cleaning your brush or palette, try dabbing that extra paint onto a blank page instead. You might be surprised at the creative possibilities that unfold!
Do you have a favorite way to use up leftover paint? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear how you make the most of your supplies!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you a fantastic weekend filled with joy and creativity! 😊🎨✨
